Rinse aid indicator
When the Rinse Aid indicat
or lights up,
the rinse aid reservoir contains suffi‐
cient rinse aid for 2 - 3 programs only.
Add rinse aid.
If you only ever use combination prod‐
ucts in you
r dishwasher, you can
switch both refill indicators for salt
and rinse aid off if you wish (see "Op‐
tions - Refill indicators").
Setting the rinse aid dosage
You can adjust the rinse aid dosage for
best r
esults.
The rinse aid dosage is set in stages
from 0 to 6. It is set to 3 at the factory.
This is the recommended setting.
The dosage can turn out to be higher
than the set valu
e due to the automatic
adjustment of the
Automatic p
rogram.
If spots appear on dishware and glass‐
war
e:
Increase the rinse aid dosage.
If clouding or smearing appears on
dishwar
e and glassware:
Decr
ease the rinse aid dosage.
T
urn the dishwasher off with the
button, if it is turned on.
P
ress the program selection button
, and, simultaneously switch the
dishwasher on using the button.
Keep the program selection button
pressed in for at least four seconds
until the lower right program indicator
light comes on.
If this does not happen, start the proce‐
dur
e from the beginning again.
P
ress the
Short butt
on three times.
The Short indicator will flash 3 times at
short intervals.
The set value will appear in the display
aft
er .
The flashing sequence
will appear in
the display.
This indicates a factory default setting
of 3.
Use the pr
ogram selection button
to select the setting required.
Each press of the button moves you
up a level.
The setting is now stored in memory.
