Safety switch-off
Safety switch-off with an overlong
cooking time
The safety switch-off mechanism is
trigg
ered automatically if one of the
cooking zones is heated for an unusual‐
ly long period of time. This period of
time depends on the power level selec‐
ted. Once exceeded, the cooking zone
switches off and the residual heat indi‐
cators appear. The cooking zone can
be operated again after it has been
switched off and back on.
Safety switch-off if the sensors are
cover
ed
Your hob will switch off automatically if
one o
r several sensors remain covered
for more than about 10 seconds, for ex‐
ample by finger contact, food boiling
over or an object. The symbol will ap‐
pear in the relevant cooking zone dis‐
play and a tone will sound.
The symbol will go out once you have
removed the object or cleaned the hob
and the hob will be ready to use again.
