Safety distance above the hob
A minimum safety distance must be
maintained between the appliance and
the coo
ker hood above it. See the
cooker hood manufacturer's operating
and installation instructions for details.
If the manufacturer's instructions are
not available for the cooker hood, a
minimum safety distance of at least 760
mm must be maintained. For any flam‐
mable objects (e.g. utensil rails, wall
units etc) a minimum safety distance of
at least 760 mm must be maintained
between them and the appliance below.
When two or more appliances which
have
different safety distances are
installed together below a cooker
hood, you should observe the great‐
est safety distance.
