Only use the Miele descaling
tablets. Other types of descaling
agents will damage the coffee
machine and affect the taste.

Follow the instructions given in the
display.

Fill the water container up to the k
mark with lukewarm water.
^
Drop two descaling tablets in the
water.
Follow the instructions for the mixing
ratio carefully. It is important that you
fill the water container with the
correct amount of water (not less or
more), otherwise descaling will be
cut short and must then be repeated.
^ Replace the water container.
When "Remove capsule plate Insert
descaling funnel and close the door"
appears,
^ remove the capsule plate and
replace it with the red descaling
funnel.
Please follow the instructions which
appear in the display.
Tip: Place the waste container under
the central spout and the steam valve.
