Electrical connection

All electrical work must be
carried out by a suitably qualified
person in compliance with local and
national safety regulations.
Installation, repairs and other work
by unqualified persons could be
dangerous. The manufacturer
cannot be held responsible for
unauthorized work.

Ensure power is not supplied to
the appliance until after installation.
The dishwasher comes equipped with a
power cord and plug.

The power outlet must be
accessible after installation. Do not
use an extension cord to connect
the dishwasher to the mains. Danger
of overheating!
A damaged power cord must only
be replaced with a genuine Miele
cord by a Miele service technician.
The machine must only be operated
with the voltage, frequency and
fusing shown on the data plate
located on the rear of the machine,
and on the top of the door.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This
appliance must be grounded. In the
event of malfunction or breakdown,
grounding will reduce the risk of
electric shock by providing a path of
least resistance for electric current. This
appliance is equipped with a cord
having an equipment-grounding
conductor and a grounding plug. The
plug must be plugged into an
appropriate outlet that is properly
installed and grounded in accordance
with all local codes and ordinances.
WARNING – Improper connection of
the equipment-grounding conductor
can result in the risk of electric shock.
Check with an electrician if in doubt of
the appliance’s grounding. Do not
modify the plug provided with the
appliance: if it will not fit the outlet, have
a proper outlet installed by a qualified
electrician.
The wires in the cord are colored in
accordance with the following code:
Green/yellow = ground
Blue = neutral
Brown = live
