To obtain the best cooking results possible, you must operate your microwave oven properly. This
section gives you important information for efficient and safe use of your oven.
Microwave oven controls
There are three parts in the control section:
-Display and Indicators
-Command Pads
-Number Pads
Instructions for each control are covered on the
following pages. Read them carefully.
Display and indicators
The display shows time settings, temperature
settings, cook powers, and Indicators.
Command pads
l
Touch Command Pads to tell the microwave
oven what to do and in what order. A few
examples:
-TIMER tells the oven you are going to set
the Minute Timer.
-START tells the oven to start.
l
Each Command Pad (except START, CLEAR/
OFF, and POWER LEVEL) causes an Indicator
to light when you touch the Command Pad.
While the oven is running, an Indicator (or
Indicators) will be on to show what the oven is
doing.
l
lf you touch two instructions ‘into the same
cycle, the second set of instructions will cancel
the first.
