Caring For Your Microwave
Oven -
Cleaning the
microwave oven
Wipe often with warm, sudsy water and a
sponge or paper towel. The glass tray may be
removed for cleaning; however, this oven is
designed to operate with the tray in place. Do
not
operate the microwave oven when tray is
removed for cleaning. See page
27
for further
information about the tray.
For stubborn soil, boil a cup of water in the oven
for 2 or 3 minutes. Steam will soften the soil.
Be sure to keep the areas clean where the
door and oven frame touch when closed.
Use only mild, nonabrasive soaps or detergents
applied with a sponge or paper towel when
cleaning surfaces. Rinse well.
Product Damage Hazard
Abrasive cleansers, steel-wool pads, grii
wash cloths, etc., can damage the control
panel, and the interior and exterior oven
surfaces. Use a sponge with a mild deter-
gent or a paper towel with spray glass
cleaner. Apply spray glass cleaner to paper
towel; do not spray directly on oven.
To clean glasr tray,
wash in mild, sudsy water;
for heavily soiled areas use a mild cleanser and
scouring sponge. The tray is dishwasher-safe.
