5 Maintenance
Precondition:‘Please select product:’ is displayed. The c symbol is
also displayed.
O T Press the P button.

T Press the ‘Change the filter’ button.

E If you do not want to start changing the filter just yet, press
the
‘’ button.
T Press the
‘Next’ button.
‘Change filter’
T Remove and empty the water tank.
T Open the filter holder and remove the old CLARIS filter cart-
ridge.
T Insert the New filter cartridge into the water tank, exerting
slight pressure.
T Close the filter holder. It will click into place audibly.
T Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water and reinsert the tank.
T Place a receptacle (at least 500 ml) under the hot-water
nozzle.
T Press the
‘Next’ button.
‘Filter is being rinsed.’, water flows out of the hot-water
nozzle.
E You can interrupt rinsing of the filter at any time by pressing
any button. Press the Rotary Switchk to continue rinsing of
the filter.
E The water may be slightly discoloured. This is not harmful to
health and does not affect the taste.
Rinsing of the filter stops automatically after approximately
500 ml. The machine heats up.
