The burner assemblies should be cleaned thoroughly
after spillovers.
Turn all
controlsOFFbeforeremovingburnerparts
anddrippans (if soequipped).
The burner grates, caps, burner heads and drip pans
(if so equipped) can be lifted off, making them easy
to clean.

oneburner is turned
to LIT~, all the bume
spark.Do not attempt to
disassembleor clean around any burner while
anotherburner is on. An electric shock may result,
whichcould causeyou to knock over hotcookware.

Onmodelswithdualburners,thecooktoplifisup for
easyaccess.
Theholesin the surfaceburnersofyourrangemustbe
keptcleanat alltimesforproperignitionandan even,
unhamperedflame.
Youshouldcleanthe surfaceburnersroutinely,
especiallyafterbad spillovers,whichcouldclogthese
holes.Wipeoff sutiaceburners.If heavyspillover
occurs,removethesurfaceburnersfromrange.
Burnersliftoutfor cleaning.Lifiup thecooktopand
thenliftoutthesurfaceburners.
Toremoveburned-onfood,soakthesurfaceburnerin
a solutionofmildliquiddetergentandhotwater.Soak
thesurfaceburnerfor 20 to 30minutes.For more
stubbornstains,use a cleanserlikeSoftScrub”brand
or BonAmi”brand.Rinsewellto removeanytraces
of tie cleanserthatmightclogthesurfaceburner
openings.Do notusesteelwoolbecauseit will clog
thesurfaceburneropeningsandscratchthe surface
burners.If theholesbecomeclogged,cleanthemwith
a toothpick.
Beforeputtingthesurfaceburnerback,shakeout
excesswaterandthendry it thoroughlyby settingit in
a warmovenfor 30minutes.Thenplaceit backin the
range,makingsureit isproperlyseatedandlevel.
