lowerburner orificespudislocatedbehindthe
storagedrawer,broilerdraweror kickpanel.(On
somemodels,ametalshieldmustbe removedto
accessthe orifice.)
2. TOconvert to U
gas,
use a 1/2”wrenchtoturn
the lowerburner orifice
spudcloctilse. Tightenthe
spudonlyuntilitis snug.
Topreventdamage,do
not overtightenthe spud.

l-inchblueconesand
shouldnotextendbeyond
the edgesofthe burnerbtifle.Mer 30seconds
ofburneroperation,checkforflamesliftingoff
burnerports.Ifliftingis observed,gradually
reduceairshutteropeninguntilflamesare
stabilized.
For natial gas, theshutter should be open
1/2” or about 3/4 ofthe way open.
Whenallconnectionshavebeenmade,makesure
allrangecontrolsare inthe offpositionandturn
onthe maingassupplyvalve.Usea liquidleak
detectorat alljointsandconnectionstocheckfor
leaksinthe system.

When using test pressures greater than 1/2 psig
to pressure test the gas supplysystem ofthe
residence, disconnectthe range and individual
shut-offvalvefromthe gas supplypiping.When
using test pressures of 1/2 psig or less to test the
gassupplysystem,simplyisolatethe rangefrom
thegassupplysystembyclosingtheindividual
shut-offvalve.
