The airadjustmentshutterforthe top (broil)
burnerisinthe centerofthe rearwallofthe oven.
The shutterforthe bottom(oven)burner is near
the backwallbehindthe storagedraweror the
kickpanel(dependingonthe model).Remove
the drawerorpanel.(SeeCareandCleaning
sectioninthisbook.)
To adjust the flow ofair to either burner, loosen
the Philtipshead screw and rotate the shutter
toward open or closed position as needed.
me flamesforthe top (broil)burner shouldbe
steadywithapproximately1“blueconesandshould
notextendoutovertheedgesofthe burnerbaffle.
To
determine ifthe bottom burner flames are
burning properly,remove the ovenbottom and
the burner baffle (see below). Flames should
have approximately 1“blue cones and, if range
is suppliedwith natural gas, should burn with no
yellowtipping. (Withmost LPgas, smallyeflow
tips at the end of outer cones are normal.)
Flames should not liftoffburner ports. Ifmg
is observed, gradually reduce air shutter
opening untilflames are stabitied. With the
baffle in place, the flames should burn steady
and should not extend past the edges ofthe
burner baffle.
Oven
Toremovethe ovenbottom:
1.Removetheknurledscrewsholdingdownrear
ofthe ovenbottom.
2. Graspthe ovenbottomatfingerslotson
eachside.
3. Liftthe rear ofthe ovenbottomenoughto
clearthe lipofthe rangeframe,thenpullout.

slot that holds it at rear of oven,
