How to Remove Packaging Tape
To assure no damage is done to the finish of the
product, the safest way to remove adhesive left from
packaging tape on new appliances is an application of
a household liquid
dishwashing detergent, mineral oil
or cooking oil. Apply with a soft cloth and allow to
soak. Wipe dry and then apply an appliance polish to
thoroughly clean and protect the surface.
NOTE: The plastic tape must be removed from the
chrome trim on oven parts. It cannot be removed if it
is baked on.
Write down the model and serial numbers.
You’ll find them on a label on the front of the oven
behind the oven door.
These numbers are also on the Consumer Product
Ownership Registration Card that came with your
oven. Before sending in this card, please write these
numbers here:
Model Number
Serial Number
Use these numbers in any correspondence or service
calls concerning your oven.
