Potato cheese gratin
(serves 4)
500 g potatoes, peeled
250 ml double cream
125 g crème fraîche
150 g Cheddar, grated
1 clove of garlic
Salt, black pepper, nutmeg
Butter
Slice the potatoes finely, mix with
approx. 2/3 of the cheese, and place in
the base of a greased baking dish
(approx. 24 cm in diameter) with the
garlic.
Mix together the cream and crème
fraîche, season with salt, pepper and
nutmeg and pour over the potato and
cheese mixture. Sprinkle with the rest of
the cheese and bake uncovered.
