Model H63 Important: To the Operator

Clearing Fault Tones
To clear the tone for any fault s which have been
corrected, press the <-- -- arrow key. To see if there is
more than one fault, press the MENU/SEL k ey. W hen
the last fault is displayed, the control will return to t he
OPERATOR MENU. To return to the main screen,
move t he cursor to “A” and press t he MENU/SEL key
again.
Listed below are the variable messages whic h will
appear, along with the correctiv e act ion:
1. NO FAULT FOUND: There was no f ault f ound
in the fr eezer. Nothing will appear on the screen
after this variable message appears.
2. BEATER OVERLOAD: Press the reset button
firmly. Clear the tone per inst ructions in
“Clearing Fault Tones” on page 15.
3. CHK REFRIG SYS PSI: Place the power
switch in the OFF position. Wait 5 minutes for
the machine to cool. Place the power switc h in
the ON pos ition. Clear the tone per instructions
in “ Clearing F ault Tones” on page 15.
4. COMP ON TOO LONG: Place the power
switch in the OFF position. Call service
technician. Clear the tone per instructions in
“Clearing Fault Tones” on page 15.
5. HOPPER THERM BAD: Place the power
switch in the OFF position. Call service
technician.
6. BARREL THERM BAD: Place the power
switch in the OFF position. Call service
technician.
7. GLYCOL THERM BAD: Place the power
switch in the OFF position. Call service
technician.
8. HOPPER OVER TE MP: T he hopper
temperature has risen t oo high as f ollows. Clear
the tone per instr uctions in “Clearing Fault
Tones” on page 15.
a. The hopper temperature reaches 41_F.
(5_C.) or higher aft er a power failure.
b. The hopper temperature has not fallen below
41_F. (5_C. ) by the end of the COOL phas e
in the heat cycle.
9. BARREL OVER TEMP : The barrel temperature
has risen t oo high as f ollows. Clear the tone per
instruc tions in “Clearing Fault Tones” on
page 15.
a. The barrel tem perature reaches 41_F. (5_C.)
or higher after a power failure.
b. The barrel temperature has not fallen below
41_F. (5_C. ) by the end of the COOL phas e
in the heat cycle.
10. POWER FAILURE: This mess age will appear
in the FAULT DESCRIPTION if a power failure
has occurred. Clear the tone per instructions in
“Clearing Fault Tones” on page 15.
Screen “C” is SET CLOCK. This screen will display the
current date and time. The date and time may only be
changed after the freezer has been manually brush
cleaned but before it has been placed in the AUTO
mode. Move the cursor under the number you wish to
change. Press the plus key to increase the number ;
press the minus key to decrease the number. When
the desir ed time and date appears , press the
MENU/S EL key once to return to the OPERATOR
MENU.

If an invalid date is entered, the following screen will

When the MENU/SEL key is pressed, the controller
will retur n to the prev ious LCD screen to allow for
correction of the calendar entr y. T he controller will not
advance to the next screen until a valid date has been
entered. Once a valid date has been entered, pressing
the MENU/SEL key will display a the Daylight S aving
T ime screen.
