Step 3
Press the AUTO key. When the unit cycles off, the
product will be ready to serve.

Fill the hopper withfr esh mix and place the mix hopper
cover in position.
Note: Useonly FRESH mix when priming thefreezer.

THIS PROCEDURE MUST BE PERFO RMED ONCE
DAILY!
The function of the Heat Treatment Cycle is to destroy
bacteria by raising the temper ature of the mix in the
freezing cylinder and the hopper to a specified
temperature for a specified period of tim e, and then
bringing the temperature back down low enough to
retard spoilage.
The Heat Treatment Cycle will st art a t the time
designated in t he Aut o Heat T ime.
Important: The level of mix in the mix hopper must be
at th e line on the agitator paddle. (The mix low light
must not be ON.)
Note: If the C LEAN M ANUALLY light is flashing, the
machine must be disassembled and brush cleaned
within 24 hours.
The freezer must first be in the STANDBY or AUTO
mode before the HEAT cycle may be started.
MAKE SURE YOUR HANDS ARE SANITIZED
BEFORE PERFORMING THESE NEXT STEPS.
Step 1
Remove the hopper cover, assembled air tube, and
agitator. Take thes e parts to the sink for further
cleaning and sanitizing.
Note: Pressing the <-- -- arrow key will stop the
agitator rotation for ten seconds.

Step 2
Remove the rear drip pan, front drip tray, and splash
shield and take to t he sink for further cleaning.
Rinse theseparts in cool, clean water. Prepar e a small
amount of an approved cleaning solution and brush
clean parts.
Step 3
Place the fr ont drip tray, and splash shield on a clean,
dry surface to air--dry overnight or until the heating
cycle is complete.
Step 4
Preparea smallamountof an approved 100 PPM sani-
tizing solution. USE W ARM W ATER AND FOLLOW
THE MANUFACTURER’S SPECIFICATIONS. Sani-
tize the air tube assembly, agitator, hopper cover, and
rear drip pan.
Important: Install the agitator back onto the
agitator housing.
Note: Press the <-- -- arrow key to stop the agitator
motion for 10 s econds.
