4 Permanent settings in programming mode
In the program item ‘Product settings(3/7)’/ ‘Programming’ you can
rename all the products stored on the start screen or the product
selector.
Example: Proceed as follows to change the product name from
‘Coffee’ to ‘My coffee’.
Precondition:
‘Please select product:’ is displayed.
O T Press the P button.
‘Maintenance status(1/7)’
g T Turn the Rotary Switch until the program item ‘Product
settings(3/7)’
is displayed.
T Press the
‘Programming’ button.
‘Programming’
T Press the ‘Coffee’ button.
T Press the
‘Next’ button.
T Press the
‘Product name’ button.
‘ABC’...‘Я’
g T Turn the Rotary Switch until the letter ‘M’ is highlighted.
k T Press the Rotary Switch to confirm the letter
‘M’.
T Press the
‘abc’ button to change to lower case.
g T Turn the Rotary Switch until the letter
‘y’ is highlighted.
k T Press the Rotary Switch to confirm the letter
‘y’.
T Continue until
‘My coffee’ is displayed.
T Press the
‘Save’ button to confirm the product name.
‘Saved’ appears briefly on the display.

O T Press the P button to exit programming mode.

In the program item ‘Machine settings(4/7)’/ ‘Save energy’ you can
permanently set an energy-saving mode (Energy Save Mode,

After switching on, your IMPRESSA is only ready for use for
specialty coffees and hot water. Before you can prepare a
specialty coffee with milk, the machine must heat up.

Soon after the last preparation, the IMPRESSA stops heating
up. After about 5 minutes the message
‘Energy Save’ is
displayed.
