Oil foaming or boiling

• Water in oil
• Improper or bad oil
• Improper filtering

cleaning the vat

• Filter paper or pad
clogged
• Filter not reassembled
correctly
• Filter pan not completely
engaged
• Filter pan clogged
• Damaged O-ring on filter
line receiver on fryer
• Elements are up
• Power cord for vat #1
is not plugged-in
• Open circuit
• the thermal reset button on
the rear of the pump motor
is tripped
• Drain and clean oil
• Use recommended oil
• Refer to filtering procedures
• Clean and rinse vat and then
dry thoroughly
• Open valve, force cleaning brush
through drain
• Remove right side panel and remove
plug from end of trough and clean
trough
• Tighten all filter line connections
• Change filter paper or pad
• Refer to assembly instructions on inside
of door
• Make sure filter pan return line is
pushed completely into the receiver on
the fryer
• Clean pan and change paper or pad
• Change O-ring
• Lower elements completely into vat
• Plug power cord into receptacle
• Check circuit breakers behind left door
(beside control circuit breakers)-reset if
needed
• Allow time for the motor to cool and
then, using a screwdriver, press hard
against the button until it clicks
