ADJUST THE OVEN THERMOSTAT—

Youmayfindthatyournewovencooksdifferently
thanthe oneit replaced.Werecommendthatyou
useyournewovenfor a fewweeksto becomemore
familiwwithit,followingthetimesgiveninyour
recipesas a guide.
~ youthinkyournewovenis toohot or toocold,
youcanadjustthe thermostatyourself.If youthink
it is toohot,adjustthethermostatto makeit cooler.If
youthinkitis toocool,adjustthe thermostatto make
it hotter.
Wedo not recommendthe use of inexpensive
thermometers, suchas thosefoundin grocerystores,
to checkthetemperaturesettingof yournewoven.
Thesethermometersmayvary2M0 degrees.
ToAdjustthe Thermostat:

1. Pressthe BA~ pad.
BAKE

2. Selectan oventemperaturebetween500°F.
and550°F.
3. Immediately,before“ON’ appears,press and
holdthe BA= padfor about4 seconds.Thetime
displaywill changeto the ovenadjustmentdisplay.
4. Theoventemperaturecanbe adjustedupto (+)
35°F.hotteror (–)35°F.cooler.Usethe+ orpad
to selectthedesiredchangein thedisplay.
5. Whenyouhavemadetheadjustment,pressthe
CLEAWOFFpadto go backto thetimeof day
display.Useyourovenas youwouldnormally.
NOTE:Thisadjustmentwill notaffectthebroilingor
the self-cleaningtemperatures.It willbe retainedin
memoryaftera powerfailure.
