Ltit-Off OvenDoor
Theovendooris removable,
but it is heavy. You may need
help removing and replacing
the door. Do not lift the door by
the handle. This can cause the
glass to break or can cause
damage to the door.
Toremovethedoor,openit a
few inchestothe specialstop
positionthatwillholdthe door
open.Graspfirmlyon eachside
andlift thedoorstraightup and
off thehinges.
NOTE:
Be carefulnotto placehandsbetweenthehinge
andthe ovendoorframeas thehingecouldsnap
backandpinchfingers.
Whileworkingin theovenarea,coverthehinges
withtowelsor emptypapertowelrollsto prevent
pinchedfingersandchippingtheporcelainenamel
on theframe.
Toreplace the door,makesurethe hingesare inthe
specialstopposition.Positionthe slotsin thebottom
of thedoorsquarelyoverthe hinges.Thenlowerthe
doorslowlyandevenlyoverbothhingesatthe same
time.If hingessnapbackagainstthe ovenframe,pull
thembackout.
ACAUTION
Toavoidpersonalinjuryorpropertydamage,
handlethe ovendoorwithcare.Do notlift
the ovendoorusingthe doorhandle.The
dooris heavyandan be damagedif it is
dropped.
Do notplaceyourhandsin the hingearea
whenthedooris removed.Thehingecan
snapshutandpinchyourhands.
Thedoorcontainstemperedglass.If the glass
is scratched,chipped,twistedor impactedit
maybreaksuddenly.If the doorglass
appearsdamagedit shodd be replaced
immediately.
TOCLEANTHEDOOR:
Insideof thedoor:
Becausetheareainsidethe gasketis cleanedduring
theselfcleancycle,youdo notneedto cleanthisby
hand.Anysoaplefton thelinercausesadditional
stainswhenthe ovenisheated.
Theareaoutsidethe gasketcanbe cleanedwith a
soap-filledscouringpad.
Do notrub or cleanthedoorgasket—thefiberglass
materialofthe gaskethas anextremelylow
resistanceto abrasion.Anintactandwell-fitting
ovendoorgasketis essentialforenergy-efficient
ovenoperationandgoodbakingresults.If you
noticethegasketbecomingworn,frayedor damaged
in any way-or if it has bec~me displaced on the door,
you should have it replaced.
NOTE:Thegasketis designedwitha gap atthe
bottomto allowfor properair circulation.

Outsideofthe door:
Use soap and water to thoroughly clean the top,
sides and front of the oven door. Rinse well. You
may also use a glass cleaner to clean the glass on
the outside of the door.
Spillage of marinades, fruitjuices, tomato sauces
and basting materials containing acids may cause
discoloration and should be wiped up immediately.
When surface is cool, clean and rinse.
Do not use oven cleaners, cleansing powders or
harsh abrasives on the outside of the door.
