inchabovethe drippan canpermanentlydamage
the receptacle.
Toreplacea surfaceunit:
Replacethedrippan intotherecessin the
cooktop.Makesurethe openingin the panlines
up withthereceptacle.
Inserttheterminalsof thesurfaceunitthroughthe
openingin thedrippan andintothereceptacle.
Guidethe surfaceunitintoplaceso it restsevedy.
DripPans
Removethesurfaceunits.Thenlift outthe drippans.
Forbestresdti, cleanthedrippansby hand.
Placethemin a coveredcontainer(or a plasticbag)
with 1/4cupammoniato loosenthesoil. Thenscrub
witha soapfilledscouringpad if necessary.Rinse
withcleanwaterandpolishwith a cleansoftcloth.
Thedrippansmayalsobe cleanedin the dishwasher.
Blackdrippans (onsomemodels)maybe cleanedin
a self-cleaningovenaftertheyhavebeen thoroughly
rinsed.However,self-cleaningthemmay causethem
to losetheiroriginallusterandshine.
