The surfaceburnermoduleconsistsof twosurfaceburnergrates,an aerationtray and
a burnerassembly.
To Install Burner Module
1. Be surecontrolknobsare turnedOff.
2. If the grillburnerand grillgratesare in place, removebefore instarlinga surface
burnermodule.Clean burnerbasinof any greaseaccumulation.(See page21 for
cleaning recommendations.)
3. Positiontheburnerassemblywiththemixertubeopeningstowardtheorifices.Slide
the burnerassemblytowardthe orificesuntilopeningfor igniterisoverthe igniter.
Lowerintoplaceuntilside openingsare restingon the burnersupportsand igniter
is centeredbetweenthe twoflash tubes.
4. Installthe aerationtray byinsertingtheprongattheendofthepanintothe opening
inthe end of the burnerbasin.Lowerthe oppositeend intothe rangetop.

To Remove Burner Module
1. Control knobsshouldbe inthe Off positionandthe rangetopshouldbe cool.
2. Removethe aerationtray byliftingup the frontendon the rightside (backend on
the left side) untilthe top clearsthe openingofthe rangetopby about5 inches.
3. Holdaerationtraybythesidesandslideawaytoremovethe prongfromtheopening
and clearthe surfaceburners.
4. Liftup on the sidesof the surfaceburnerassemblybracketabout2 inches.Slide
awayfrom the orifices.
NOTE: Optionalsurfaceburnerassembly,ModelAG202, can replacethegrillburner
assembly. ModelAG202 airshuttershavebeenadjustedfor compatibilityon
the left side.
NOTE: Do notdisassemblethe surfaceburnerassembly.
