The model and device name are displayed as collected from the MIB.
2 In Device Name, specify the host name or the IP address collected during discovery.
3 In Server Port, specify the port number for this SLAM.
4 In User Login, enter your user name for this SLAM.
5 In User Password, enter the password for the user name entered in the previous
step.
6 In Label, specify a name to be displayed in the navigation tree for this SLAM (the
sysName in MIB II or an equivalent identifier in a private MIB).
7 In Notifications, specify the type, if any, of notifications that you want:
E-mail: Select the check box to send threshold-crossing e-mail notifications for
each indicator.
SNMP: Select the check box to send threshold-crossing SNMP traps to the SNMP
managers.
Apply Notifications on This Object and All Sub Objects: Click this button to use
the same type of notifications for subordinate objects in the navigation tree.
8 In Other Properties, modify the properties as appropriate:
Enable Polling: Select this check box to activate the collection of counters. Clear
the check box if you do not need reports on this device, do not need statistics on
this device, or if you want to hide this device.
Show Peers: Select this check box to display the peers of this SLAM in the
navigation tree.
Export Raw Data: Select this check box to export data into the Raw ASCII report
file.
9 Click Apply Changes.
