To Name an IP Object in PATROL DashBoard
1 In the PATROL DashBoard interface, right-click the device that you want to name,
and choose
Properties from the menu.
2 In the Hostname box of the Setup window, enter the name of the device (the same
device name that was used for its Selection name in HP OpenView), and then click
Modify.
To Name a PATROL DashBoard Object in HP OpenView
1 In the HP OpenView interface, right-click an object that is managed by PATROL
DashBoard, and choose
Object Properties from the menu.
2 In the Properties window, click Set Selection Name.
3 In the Selection name box, enter the PATROL DashBoard IP address as the name.
4 Click OK.
