CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
METHOD
Cream butter in an electric mixer until light.With the mixer running,slowly add brown sugar, sugar, vanilla,
salt, egg, flour and dissolved baking powder. Mix until just blended. Stir in chopped nuts and chocolate
chips by hand. If dough is too soft, chill it until it stiffens a little.Then, shape the dough into 2” diameter
(no bigger) balls. Place them on a baking sheet, leaving 2” in-between, since the dough spreads on
cooking. Pre-heat crusty plate on 600W + GRILL for 3 minutes. Microwave cookies on the same setting
for 12 minutes or until they set but are slightly soft. Let the cookies cool and harden. Store in air-
tight containers.
