Appendix B: Resetting the room system to
factory defaults
This appendix explains how to reset theroom system to factory defaults.
In most situations, you should reset theroom system from the Settings screen. However, if the
room system is in an unrecoverable state orthe Settings screen is otherwise not accessible, you
can reset the room system from the BIOS.
To reset the room system from the Settings screen
1. On the console, press Options and then press Settings.
The Enter yourcredentials screenappears.
2. Type the room system administrator account’s user name and password and then press
Authenticate.
The room system restarts.
3. Type the room system administrator account’s user name and password and then press
ENTER.
The Settings screen appears.
4. Press Web Updates.
5. Press Reset the Device to Factory Image.
The room system restarts, and thesoftware is reset to factory defaults.
