Syrup Line Fitting With
“Clean- Out” Feature
During the days operation, hardened syrup could get
lodged in the syrup line fitting. To clear the sy rup line
of restrictions , follow these steps .
Prepare a mix pail with one gallon (3.8 liters) of an
approved 100 PPM sanit izing solution with warm
water.
Disconnect the rest ricted syrup line at the syrup tank
and at the fr eezer door .
Place the syrup sampler on the syrup line fit ting at the
freezer door and press i t i nto a n empty pail. This will
relieve any pressure that might be in the syrup line.
Unscrew the cap on the back of the syrup line fitt ing
and pull the cap, spring, and valve out of the fitting.
Rinse the syrup linefitting, cap, spring, and valve in the
pail of sanitizing solution.
Once the components a re thoroughly rinsed, placethe
valve, spring, and cap back inside the syrup line fitting
and tighten the cap securely.
Reconnect the syrup line fitting at the syr up tank.
Calibrate the syrup flow. (Refer to page 29.)
