Sound is not sent out
In some Windows env ironments sound is not s ent out. T his can be solved as follow:
1. Right click on the sound icon in the system tray and select P laybac k dev ices.TheSou nd window opens.
2. Select Speakers ClickShare, select Set default and click Apply.
4.8 LAN connection
About LAN connection
The Base Unit can be connected to a local network or directly to a laptop. F or normal operation, a LAN connection is not necessary.
The LAN con nection can be used:
•toconfigure your ClickShare
• to update the software
• for maintenance purposes
How to connect
1. Insert a network cable with RJ-45 connector into the LAN port.

2. Connect the other side to a LA N.
4.9 Power connection and switching on
WARNING: Use power cord which complies to local regulations. If not included in the box, contact your local
dealer for a correct p ow er cord.
How to connect
1. Plug the power cable in the mains po wer co nnector at the back of the Base Unit
Note: The local v ariant of the power cable is included in the ClickShare box.
