MAKING DOUGH AND BAKING BREAD
When a bread setting or combination is selected, your new Bread Baker will automati-
cally combine the ingredients, knead and make bread from start to finish. To delay com-
pletion, the automatic Timer may be programmed to make bread while you are at work
or asleep. See Using The Delay Bake Timer, page 18.
The recipes included with this booklet have been thoroughly tested to ensure best
results. Recipes have been created by home economists specifically for this Bread Baker
and may not produce acceptable results in other similar bread makers.
For All Bread Settings, Follow These Instructions:
Open the Lid and remove the Bread Pans by
pulling straight up. It is important to remove
the Bread Pans from the unit before putting
ingredients into the
pans. This will
prevent acciden-
tally spilling
ingredients into
the Baking Cham-
bers.
Attach the Kneading Blades onto the Drive
Shafts inside the Bread Pans by lining up the
flat side of the blade with the flat side on the
shaft. Push the
blade firmly onto
the shaft. Be sure
to set the Knead-
ing Blade firmly
in place to pre-
vent blade from
coming off during
operation, which
may affect the
kneading or mix-
ing. Be sure the
Drive Shaft is
clean of any residue (i.e. dough). This will
ensure the Kneading Blade will fully seat into
place and will prevent blade from sticking to
the shaft.
