6 Enter the Mail Domain Name. For example, GL.123.net or
ABC.123.com.
7 Enter the
SMTP Port Number.
8Click
Save.
Data may be rejected by the receiving SMTP mail server
when the file size exceeds the maximum mail size limits set
for the server/gateway. Also, if the recipient’s available
memory and hard disk space are limited, your data may not
be received successfully.
If your email is returned due to exceeding the file size, check
the recipient’s maximum limits and adjust the fragmentation
setting for the template you are using. When you set
fragmentation to 64, 256, or 512 KB file size, the software
breaks down the file and sends several email messages.
Configuring Mail Message and Error Handling
1 Log in as an administrator.
2Click the
Administration tab.
3Click the
Setup subtab.
4Click the
Email link.
The Email page opens.
5 In the Message Handling area, click the Maximum Send to
Email/iFax Size drop-down menu.
6 Select the maximum file size allowed for receipt.
7 Click the Print iFax when Received drop-down menu.
8 Select the method of printing the file when it is received.
You can print attachments only, or text and attachments.
9 In the If iFax Print Error area, check the
Print Error Message
box to print the error message.
10 Check the
Send to Administrator's Email Address box.
11 Enter your administrator's email address to have error
messages sent to you via email.
12 Click
Save.
