PUBLIC GROUPS AND TEMPLATES
Administrators create and maintain public templates and manage
the public template group. End users can view and use public
templates but cannot modify them.
The public group can contain up to 60 public templates.
Typically, these are general purpose templates that are available
to all users. You can also create public templates configured for
particular users or departments, and assign passwords to them.
Creating Public Templates
You use the Templates page to set up and modify scan templates.
You must be logged in as an administrator to create, edit or delete
templates in the public template group.

1On the
Scan tab, click the Templates submenu.
The Templates page opens, listing all the templates defined
for a selected group. By default, this is the public group.

New.
