IDS (Intrusion Detection System) Faults
Excessive Association
Frames in Channel:

The fault thresholds been
exceeded.
When this fault is cleared, the
following message displays:
Excessive Association Frames
not present in Channel: channel
IDS > Manage IDS
Settings > General
IDS Settings >
Excessive
Management Frame
Detection
Verify that the fault threshold is set
correctly.
If the threshold is set correctly,
review your network to determine the
action necessary to clear the fault
condition.
Excessive Association
Frames from STA: station
[Frames:
framecount,Interval:wind
owsize]
The fault thresholds been
exceeded.
When this fault is cleared, the
following message displays:
Excessive Association Frames
from STA: station not present
IDS > Manage IDS
Settings > General
IDS Settings >
Excessive
Management Frame
Detection
Verify that the fault threshold is set
correctly.
