7. From the Network Configuration screen, select the following options:
– Dial out Protocols:
NetBEUI and IPX
– Allow remote clients running:
NetBEUI and IPX
– Encryption settings:
Allow any authentication including clear text
8. Click Configure associated with NetBEUI; ensure Entire Network is selected.
Click OK.
9. Click Configure associated with IPX, the following screen appears:
10. Uncheck Assign network number to all IPX clients, click OK.
11. From the Network Configuration screen, click OK, Remote Access Setup
screen appears:
12. Click Continue, the following screen appears:
13. Click No to proceed to the following screen:
14. Click OK, the Dial-Up Networking screen appears, from which Click Restart to
reboot the PC.
Install Windows NT Service Pack 6a
To ensure that all the files copied to Windows NT are up to the Service Pack 6a
level, install Service Pack 6a again as detailed in “Install Windows NT Server
Service Pack 6a” on page 17.
