Specify who configures firewall protection settings
Configuring settings for the firewall protection service enables you to control which applications
and communications are allowed on your network. It provides the means for you to ensure the
highest level of security.
You can also allow users to configure their own firewall protection settings. In this case, no other
options are available on this tab for you to select.
To specify who configures firewall settings:
1 On the Groups + Policies page, click Add Policy (or click Edit to modify an existing policy).
2 Click the Desktop Firewall tab.
3 Under Firewall Configuration, select Administrator configures firewall or User configures firewall,
then click
Save.
Tip
To ensure the highest level of security, we recommend that administrators configure firewall
protection. If you allow users to configure the settings, it is important to educate them about
threats and strategies for avoiding intrusions.
