8.1.2 Entering text
Perform either of the following operations:
• Click
(Text).
• Select the [Figure]
[Text] menu.
Click on the screen. The text figure dialog box appears.
Enter the text, set the attribute of the text, and click the OK button. The entered text is displayed.

• Maximum 512 characters can be entered.
(A line feed is counted as one character.)
• Text can be entered in multiple lines.
Press the Enter key at the end of the line to feed a line.

Input an external character to be displayed (which should be created in advance using the
external character creation function).
When the external character No. is sandwiched with “| (half-width vertical bar)”, a
corresponding external character is displayed as one character.
When “|1||2|” is input, two characters whose external character Nos. are 1 and 2 are
displayed.
Style
The display format of the text is selected.

Text Color of the text is selected.
Direction
Direction of the text (horizontal/vertical) is selected.
