The XDS system reloads itself to the selected state and a new session has to be started.
Always save the cu rrent st ate by creating a new restore point before you activate the o ld restore point, as all
the settings in the system will be adjusted to the restore point that is activated. O nly layouts which are in this
restore point will be visible.
After installing the XDS system, it is recommen ded to create a restore point when everything is running fine.

How to delete a restore point?
1. To delete a restore point, in XDS Control Center, open the Tools menu
2. Click Restore Points Manager...
3. From the Restore point drop-down list, select the restore point
4. Click Delete Restore Point

5. Click Close to close the Restore Points Manager dialog
4.1.6.3 Reinitializing XDS system
How to rein itialize the XDS system?
To stop and restart the X DS software, you c an use this option. This will reinitialize the complete XDS system.
1. Close all the source windows
2. Click Reinitialize
