10. Troubleshooting
If the applic ation does not work, take the following steps below:
1. Stop XDS software
2. Go to the p ath where the X DS license le is stored i.e. C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Application Data\Barco\XDS
3. Delete the old license le (.lic) from that location
4. Copy new License le received ( .lic) in t hat same location
5. Start XDS software

How to get a new license le a fter expiry?
1. Login to Windows with administrator privileges
2. Stop XDS Software
3. Go to the location where the XDS license le is stored i.e. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Barco\XDS
directory and mo ve your existing XDS.lic le to another location
4. Send request to Barco for a new licen se le s pecifying the System I D or the Projector serial number, depending on the System
Installation
5. Finding S ystem ID or Serial number depends on the type of system installation:
- For XDS Control Center software with projectors or XDS -100
1) Start up the XDS System
2) Connect to the XDS system through XDS Desktop Sharing Client
3) License error w ill be displayed in Feedback window along with Se rial ID

For NW-xx (Projector) system installation, the Serial number of the projector will be displayed on the Display Panel in
front of the projector
o
For Dual Channel conguration, please note the serial numbers of both t he projectors
- For XDS Control C enter software with XDS-150/200/400/1000 pr ocessors
1) Start up the XDS System
2) License error will appear in an E rror Message box displaying the System ID
- For XDS Control C enter software w ithout XDS hardware
o
The client installer needs to be installed on this client machine
o
License is not required for the application to work

10.3.1 XDS Control Center does not startup

You need to start the application manually, or stop and start the software, or vi
ew the services of Barco. Follow the steps below to
troubleshoot this issue.
