5.21 Element / Surface Property Specification
General
Individual plate elements, and the Surface element need to have
their thickness specified before the analysis can be performed. The
commands for specifying this information are explained in this
section. No similar properties are required for solid elements.
However, constants such as modulus of elasticity, Poisson’s Ratio,
etc. are required.
