(1) System examples
The following system examples are used in this section.
Ethernet
GOT (192.168.0.1)
IBM-PC/AT compatible (MX Component)
Use "14" as logical station number.
(2) Checking communication
After completion of preparations for making gateway function communication,
execute ping in the MS-DOS mode before starting communication using MX
Component.
When normal
C:\>ping 192.168.0.1
Reply from 192.168.0.1 : bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=32
When abnormal
C:\>ping 192.168.0.1
Request timed out.
If ping does not pass through, check the settings of the GOT and the settings of
the Windows

side IP address and others.
