b. Select the AWG2021 waveform file:
H Push MODE!Autostep!Select Autostep File to choose a
sequence file for CH1.
H Turn the general purpose knob to select the GAIN_OFF.AST file.
H Push ENTER.
3. Check gain accuracy:
H Check that the displayed step is Step 1 on the MODE menu. If it is not,
select the side menu STOP button to return to Step 1.
H Note the DMM reading as “A” for this value.
H Push the AWG2021 MANUAL TRIGGER button, and check that the
displayed step is Step 2.
H Note the DMM reading as “B” for this value.
H Do the following calculation.
A – B
H Check that the calculated value is in the range from 0.4925 V to
0.5075 V.
H Push the AWG2021 MANUAL TRIGGER button, and check that the
displayed step is Step 3.
H Note the DMM reading as “C” for this value.
H Push the AWG2021 MANUAL TRIGGER button, and check that the
displayed step is Step 4.
H Record the DMM reading as “D” for this value.
H Do the following calculation.
C – D
H Check that the calculated value is in the range from 4.925 V to 5.075 V.
4. End procedure: Retain the test hookup and control settings.
