3.2.13 Supported BFD Interfaces
For the switches, it is allowed to configure the BFD on the Routed Port and
SVI only, excluding the L3 AP port. Besides, it fails to set the BFD session on
the SVI L2AP member port.
For the routers, it is allowed to configure the BFD on the synchronous port, the
asynchronous port, ATM, the serial port, the frame relay, POS, CPOS, the
dialed port, Ethernet port and its sub-port, E1, channelized ATM, channelized
CPOS, MPPP interface.
3.3 Configuring BFD
