7.3.1 Configure DHCPv6
Server
This task involves how to create and configure a DHCPv6 configuration information
pool, and how to associate this pool with DHCPv6 Server on the interface. When this
DHCPv6 Server is enabled, it will be able to assign addresses and other
configuration information to clients. The configuration steps are shown below:

DES-7200# configure terminal
Enter global configuration mode.
DES-7200(config)# ipv6 dhcp pool
poolname
Configure DHCPv6 configuration
information pool and enter pool
configuration mode.
DES-7200(config-dhcp)#
domain-name domain
Configure a domain-name that can be
assigned to DHCPv6 Client.
