6.3.2 Application
Requirements
It is required that the switch shall be able to forward UDP broadcast packets
with destination port being 1000 to the specified UDP-Helper server (with server
IP being 30.1.1.2/24).
6.3.3 Configuration Tips
Steps to configure UDP-Helper relay forwarding feature on the device:
1. Enable UDP-Helper relay forwarding
2. Configure the destination server of UDP-Helper relay forwarding
3. Configure the destination port number of UDP broadcast packets for relay
forwarding (in this example, UDP broadcast packets with destination port
being 1000 are subject to relay forwarding; meanwhile, the device will by
default forward UDP broadcast packets containing destination port
numbers of 69, 53, 37, 137, 138 and 49).
